Hungry Mountain Ranch’s rich soil supports a variety of crops, including squash, sunflowers, fruit trees, hay and more.
The ranch is comprised of 431 acres of irrigated farmland, shrub-steppe, riparian and forested uplands along McFarland Creek. The property contains two ponds, associated wetland and a spring that feeds McFarland Creek, which flows through the property for 7,200ft. 76 acres of the ranch are irrigated. A 184 foot well provides delicious water for drinking and stock during non-irrigating season water.
The Agricultural buildings include a 29’ x 40’ two overhead door shop. Included is a large work bench shelving area, high lift and all concrete floor. The hay shed is 42’ x 60’ with power and machine shed is a four bay 29’ x 50’. Wood rails corrals and calving shed connect to the old feed lots with feed bunks.
